WHAT IF MY SON ISN'T ATTENDING CBHS?

The BLC is NOT an official affiliate of Christian Brothers High School. While many of our players go on to attend and play at CBHS it is not a requirement of our program. We welcome all players from all over Memphis.

ARE THERE TRYOUTS FOR THE TEAM?

Players are not required to tryout for the team. We open our program to all interested players. However we are a competitive program. There is no guaranteed playing time. Our coaches firmly believe that playing time is based on the players dedication to improve their skills.

WHAT IF MY SON HAS NEVER PLAYED LACROSSE BEFORE?

Wether your son is a 3rd Grader or 8th Grader, it is never too late to start playing! The goal of the BLC is to grow the sport of lacrosse at the youth level in Memphis. Player development is at the core of everything we do, regardless if you have played for a day or years.

WHEN IS THE SEASON?

Our season will start each year at the end of January and run all spring until the first or second week in May. We try to maintain a two practice a week schedule, with most games being played in March and April.

WHERE DO WE PRACTICE AND PLAY?

Practices are held at St. Louis Catholic School, on the football field. This is also where we play our home games. There is limited travel outside of Memphis. Especially at the younger levels.
